Concentric welcomed 17 new allied health graduates this week to commence working in their Communities clinics in WA, Victoria and NSW.
These graduates, who have qualifications in occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech pathology will now begin their 12 month graduate journey.
Each graduate will be supported by a Clinic Team Leader and work within a multidisciplinary (MDT) framework alongside other allied health professionals including occupational therapists, speech pathologists, physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, psychologists, positive behaviour support practitioners and dietitians.
In addition to this support, Concentric provides continuous clinical mentoring from a senior in their discipline through regular one-to-one and group sessions. They will also continue to grow their clinical knowledge through structured internal professional development, and MDT group mentoring.ย The graduates also learn about all aspects of the business including business development, marketing, human resources and accounts through attending regular masterclasses run by business area leaders.
Nick Beckett, Managing Director of Concentric said that “it is such an exciting time for these graduates as they start their allied health career with us and contribute to our belief that everyone has a right to access quality care. The energy and new ideas that these graduates bring is great to watch, as is the imparting of knowledge from our senior discipline leads and other supervisors. These graduates are a vital member of our multidisciplinary approach to client care and support and we look forward to them supporting our clients and their support networks.”
