Update to How Concentric Charge for Travel

We have some news about changes to how we handle travel and invoices at Concentric Rehabilitation starting next year.

To make sure we are sticking to the NDIS guidelines and to make your invoices as accurate as possible we have reviewed our travel policy. 

Starting January 15, 2024, we’ll be making the following changes.

 

NDIS Clients 

From January 15, 2024 we will be charging for the distance it takes to travel to and from your appointment if you get treatment outside our clinics (e.g. at your home, day program, park etc.).

Your new invoice might have:

• The time spent giving you therapy (no change).
• The time it takes to travel to and from your appointment (no change).
• Provider travel – a new charge for non-labour travel costs, like the distance we travel to your appointment, at 97 cents per kilometre.

If you get treatment at our clinic, there won’t be any changes.

 

Privately Funded Clients 

Starting January 15, 2024, we’ll be updating our hourly rate for clients who get treatment outside our clinics (e.g. at your home, day program, park etc.). The new rate will match the hourly rate for therapy.

Your new invoice might have::

• The time spent giving you therapy (no change).
• The time it takes to travel to and from your appointment (charged at the same hourly rate as therapy).

If you get treatment at our clinic, there won’t be any changes.
