Concentric is excited to announce the launch of our innovative virtual allied health services – TeleHealth and TeleConnect, designed to improve access to vital healthcare solutions for Australians nationwide.
Building on the success of TeleHealth during the COVID-19 pandemic, Concentric’s Virtual Services brings professional allied health services directly to individuals in their homes, particularly benefiting those in Residential Aged Care (RAC), isolated locations where access to allied health support is limited, or people with mobility challenges.
The delivery of virtual services not only improves greater access to care for people living in regional, rural, and remote locations throughout Australia, they facilitate prompt intervention in case of health concerns, reducing the likelihood of hospital admissions.
TeleConnect is a service that is led by a senior allied health professional who assesses, recommends, and documents an appointment virtually whilst utilising an Allied Health Assistant (AHA) attends the client’s home in-person, as required. TeleHealth is a service that is solely delivered by a senior allied health professional virtually.
The flexibility of Virtual Service appointments can lead to increased user engagement, adherence to treatment plans, and achievement of personalised individual goals.
Through our virtual platform, clients can access the following allied health services:
- Dietitians
- Physiotherapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech Pathology
- Exercise Physiology
Concentric Virtual Services will also go beyond patient care with the delivery of education sessions to staff of RAC facilities. By delivering high quality, facility specific education sessions led by our skilled allied health professions, we can address common issues in RAC and support the early identification of at risk residents. This proactive health monitoring and intervention approach will help to mitigate emerging health concerns and will empower RAC staff with practical skills.
