At Concentric, our dedicated team of provisional psychologists is here to offer supportive and practical help for individuals of all ages and situations. We’re committed to providing the resources you need to get back to living your best life. Whether you need mental health assessments or therapy, we offer a confidential, comfortable, and non-judgmental environment where you can feel at ease.
Feeling a bit nervous about visiting a psychologist for the first time? That’s completely normal! To help you feel more comfortable, here’s a quick rundown of what you can expect from your first appointment with us:
- Paperwork: We’ll start with a simple form where you can share your personal details.
- Discussion: If your GP referred you to us, we’ll go over your Mental Health Treatment Plan together.
- Exploration: We’ll chat about what led you to seek help. This could be a specific issue or something more general.
- Background: We’ll explore your history, including your relationships, career, home life, and any previous therapy experiences.
- Planning: We’ll work together to create a schedule that fits your needs and preferences.
We offer flexibility in where and how you have your sessions. You can choose to meet at one of our Concentric clinics, in your own home, within the community, or via TeleHealth—whatever works best for you!
