Suzanne Shepherd and Karen Leighton have joined Concentric as Chief People Officer and Executive General Manager – Aged Care respectively. Both with join co-founders Nicholas Young and Angeline Violi as well as Managing Director Nick Beckett on the Executive Leadership Team.
Suzanne has a strong background and proven capability in shaping and growing successful organisations through leadership, culture, collaborative networks and performance excellence. She joins Concentric from a stellar Human Resources career developed at larger organisations such as AAMI and Suncorp. Her most recent role, at McMillan Shakespeare (an ASX-listed company) where she worked for thirteen years, was as the Chief Human Resources Officer.
Karen has extensive experience in allied health recruitment in the UK, and allied health operations in Australia. Her most recent role was as the Executive General Manager for a large multi-national organisation working across allied health, NDIS and aged care service provision.

Karen further noted that ‘I feel incredibly fortunate to carry forward my professional journey with an organization that consistently innovates in its holistic approach, ensuring optimal access to services for our elders regardless of their location. To be able to promote comprehensive care programs that address the individual needs of our elders with a focus on wellness is truly fulfilling.
Suzanne will be based in Melbourne and will be working closely together with Concentric’s HR and Talent teams. Karen is Sydney based and she will be working together with the Concentric teams who are co-located within aged care locations, as well as Concentric’s Homecare services.
