Flexible Appointment Options
During this uncertain time we have changed our appointment offerings to better accommodate our clients. Choose from in-clinic, at home, or online appointments. You can also opt for all three! Contact your nearest clinic and speak with a therapists to find a solution that works for you.
Home Visits
Our mobile clinicians make accessing therapy during this difficult time simple and easy. Whether you are practicing social distancing or want to reduce risk of exposure, one of our clinicians can visit you in your home.
Our team follow strict hygiene protocols including washing their hands upon entering your home, sanitizing the table before and after it is used, and conducting health screenings prior to visiting a home environment.
Having a clinician can reduce your exposure to other clients, while still ensuring you get the care that you need.
*Please note, home visits are subject to clinician availability.
Online Therapy Appointments
Online therapy appointments are a way for those who cannot attend a clinic in person, to access high quality care with convenience.
During your consultation, our therapists will assess your needs, goals and any symptoms. They conduct assessments to get to know you better and understand what you want to achieve to reach your potential. This allows our clinicians to make an accurate assessment of you and provide a personalized plan that meets your needs. Our therapists providing online services have extensive clinical experience in providing care online.
Itโs important to note that some conditions are better suited to in-person treatment. Our therapy team will always give you an honest evaluation. If they believe you are better suited to in clinic or at home treatments, they will help you find a plan that works for you. For some people, that will be a mix of in-clinic appointments, home visits and online therapy. We are always happy to work with you to find the best solution for you.
FAQs
Concentric Rehabilitation online therapy appointments are conducted via end-to-end encrypted video calls, similar to facetime or zoom. During an online therapy session, your therapist will ask you questions about how you are, your goals and may conduct an assessment to determine the treatment approach. They may guide you through a series of exercises to see where you are at in your progress.
After this comprehensive analysis, your therapist will provide information on how you can continue to work towards your goals, including education on how to best manage between appointments. As an example, if you were receiving online physiotherapy appointments, your therapist may provide rehab exercises to provide symptom relief and long term improvements. This may include an individualized exercise program, essential to long term relief and treating underlying conditions.
Our aim is to make completing your program as easy as possible accessing therapy in a setting that best suits you.
We always want to ensure that you are getting treatment that you need. To ensure that online therapy is suited to your goals, we may set up an initial appointment with you in person or over the phone.
If you have an NDIS plan, our Client Engagement Officers will discuss the cost of services. For private therapy, we may take payment over the phone. We also accept clients who are covered under private health insurance, DVA, Medicare and a number of other funding arrangements.
For more information on the cost of service and whether your funding arrangement covers therapy, please call us on 1300 148 160.
For many conditions, online therapy can be just as effective as traditional face to face/in person therapy. Not only can this reduce your travel time and associated costs, but it can speed up access to care reducing your wait time for an appointment. If youโd like to discuss how your therapy can be conducted via telehealth, please call us on 1300 148 160 to speak to a therapist about how they may be able to provide your therapy via telehealth.

High quality internet and a device with a camera are required for online appointments. You can use your laptop, tablet or mobile device for appointments.
We do recommend starting sessions with the device on a stable surface facing you. You may also need a space where you can set up the device with room to move, this may be important for physical therapies so your therapist can guide you through a series of exercises to assess your range of movement and strength. However, this may not be necessary for all therapy appointments. Your therapist can guide you through the best way to complete online therapy based on your needs and environment.
