Motion Webex Seminar

How do you guarantee your mechanical design performs as expected, before signing off to a physical test? How do you make sure that the numerous components interact and move as planned? Will certain parts break under peak loads? How can you increase the performance and the operation speed of your design while reducing vibrations?

LMS Virtual.Lab Motion is a motion simulation tool which enables you to quickly simulate, analyze and optimize the real-world performance of your mechanical design, long before committing to expensive prototype testing.

What will the attendee learn?

In this web seminar you will learn how to:

  • Assess critical performance aspects of a mechanical design in the early design stages
  • Analyze design changes much faster and dramatically cheaper compared to physical prototype testing
  • Improve product quality by exploring multiple designs options to optimize full-system performance
  • Generate accurate inputs for structural analysis, durability studies and vibration assessments

About The Presenter

Joris De Cuyper was born in 1974 in Bonheiden, Belgium. After obtaining a degree in electro-mechanical engineering at the Catholic University of Leuven in 1997, he started working at LMS International in Leuven, Belgium as a research engineer. While working at LMS, in 2006, he obtained a PhD in mechatronics (controller design for an automotive test rig) from the same university.

Since 2006, he is working at LMS as Product Manager for Virtual.Lab Motion, the LMS multi-body simulation software.
