Fundamental and Advanced Level Training on Australia's Newest 3D Design-Building Information Management Solution For Architects And Construction Engineers... Digital Project!

A Unique Opportunity

If you are planning your corporate "Building Information Modelling" (BIM) strategy, conducting research into Applied BIM solutions for construction, or providing Higher Education Training in BIM, Design and Digital Project Management to the next generation of Architects and construction graduates and undergraduates…here is a unique opportunity to learn first-hand how - and why - landmark construction projects around the globe are utilising new Digital Project™ technology.

Gehry Technologies, the company founded by Frank Gehry to develop and support Digital Project™, is coming to Australia to conduct Advanced BIM modelling and process training in February. We would like to extend this invitation to you and your BIM associates to learn about the benefits of utilising integrated BIM systems technology, and how to set-up and manage your projects.

We recommend a 2-stage process for those with little or no exposure to integrated 3D modelling systems or the Digital Project™ solution as a means of providing seamless 'novice-to-experienced' training. (Preference is being given to industry representatives, lecturers and senior BIM researchers).

Product Overview

Digital Project : The Revolutionary New Building Platform

World renowned Frank Gehry is a pioneer of the use of digital technology for architectural design and construction. An evangelist for embracing advanced 3D computer design and information management systems in order to "push the envelope". This technology (his own Digital Project™ software) has enabled him to create landmark sites including the Guggenheim Museum, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Gehry Tower, Chiat/Day Building and Dancing House. Now, Digital Project™ is available here in Australia.

Digital Project™ is a new software platform for building teams to realise ambitious building projects working through digital technologies. It supports the lifecycle of construction projects in a common digital environment from design and engineering to fabrication, construction project management and on-site construction activities.

Built on high-performance technologies that have revolutionised the aerospace, automotive and manufacturing industries, Digital Project brings the best available digital technologies to distributed project teams collaborating on tough building design and construction projects. Digital Project™ supports the development of a comprehensive project database in a contractually controlled fashion, allows teams to realise the full benefits of building information modelling including:

  • Greatly facilitated visibility by project leadership into the project
status, information developed by the extended building team,
  • Cost estimating with accuracy and confidence,
  • Integration of financial and other project management data with
    project geometry,
  • Dramatic reduction of errors, omissions, and rework in the field,
  • Up to date coordination and delivery of project data team-wide,
  • Integration between AE documentation and fabrication or construction activities,
  • Reduced "transaction costs" (e.g. paper printing and re-work).
